What is the sample development Procedure for garments ?

Definition

Buyer need any kinds of goods order. First of all they required a sample from Nominated party (Buying House) or Seller (Manufacturer) for final order purpose. Where buyer required any particulars method buyer checked then declare those order bulk clothe, color, pattern & design etc which call  sample developed. Then after getting sample approval proceed to next final order for fresh goods.  

Sample Development Procedure

• Received Specimen sheet of garments from buyer.
• Then make pattern as per measurement.
• Check the pattern which is made.
• If necessary check shrinkage, twisting, bowing before pattern making cutting fabric as per pattern.
• Collect accessories.
• Then start sewing.
• M/C specified.
• Check the sample to ensure it for ok.
• Actual size required.
• send it to buyer for approval.

How to develop sample

After approval then proceed next step as per below

• Make the measurement clarify
• Maching size chart.
• Checked pattern
• Actual color shade
• Actual GSM
• Cutting fabric pattern.
• Collect actual accessories.
• Then sewing.
• M/C specified
• Checked the sample for clarify
• Then send to buyer for approval

How many sample item have present in garments ?

:: Proto Sample

Features :

• This type of sample made by manufacturer which available fabric & accessories .
• This will be proceed before & after order confirmation.

Purpose: Here buyer checked whether factory/garments make the goods.

:: Fit Sample 

Features :

• This type same as above which sample made by manufacturer which available fabric & accessories .
• This will be proceed before & after order confirmation.

Purpose: Here buyer checked fitness & measurement of goods.

:: PP Sample

Features :

• This type of sample made by manufacturer which available fabric & accessories .
• This will be proceed before & after order confirmation.
• This sample must be confirmation or approved from buyer before productions.

Purpose: Here buyer checked Bulk production for PP Sample.

:: Size Set Sample

Features :

• This type of sample of item all kinds measurement .
• This will be sent to buyer for approval.
• This sample will be production as per size chart for fresh goods.

Purpose: This sample use for PP Meeting.

:: Production Sample

Features :

• This type of sample  collection from production floor while bulk production is running .
• Then it send to buyer for approval.

Purpose: This sample buyer compare with PP sample.

:: Garments Test Sample

Features :

• This type of sample  collection from production floor while bulk production is running .
• Then it send to testing house.

Purpose: This sample testing house test different aspects then "Test Report" sent to buyer.

Common Test of Garments:

• Dimension stability test.
• Sewing Strength test.
• Button attachment test.
• Spirality test.
• Abrasion test.
• Radiation of materiel test.

Whatever testing house local or international. This particulars testing after finished it sent to buyer for approval final productions. 

:: Shipment Sample

Features :

• This type of sample are not so mandatory.
• Then it send to buyer for approval to proceed final production.

Purpose: This PP sample compare with shipment sample.

:: Salls-man Sample

Features :

• If the collect sample garment of specific season which are displayed for retail shop for justify demand of these sample.

Purpose: Collect information of sample  which insure for goods quality.
